Icy Veins Guardian Page 1. Class Overview Guardian Druid tanks are currently fairly well balanced, being equipped to deal with any incoming damage types, be they Physical or magic. Guardian Druids offer a high amount of utility to any raid or dungeon group. They rely on their high health pools (boosted in part by their Mastery) and the increases to healing received that they benefit from. As such, they take more damage than other tanks, but also have the means to handle this damage and be healed up accordingly. As a Guardian Druid, you are well suited for single target tanking and excel at AoE tanking. Note that this guide focuses on aspects which are specific to Guardian Druids, and general tanking strategies are beyond its scope. If you wish to know more about the tanking role and what you can do to improve, we recommend that you read our tanking guide. 2. Significant Legion Changes Resolve has been removed. Lacerate, Savage Defense, and Berserk have been removed, as have Primal Fury, Ursa Major, and Tooth and Claw passive abilities. Mastery has been changed to Mastery: Nature's Guardian, which increases maximum health, healing received, and attack power. Active mitigation is now done through Ironfur (armor increase), Mark of Ursol (magic damage reduction), and Frenzied Regeneration (self-heal). The above section was copied from Icy Veins.
